This one appears to be a sugar shaker. It is marked with Hazel Atlas's logo on the bottom along with 5051 above the logo and F 8 below. The glass is in really nice shape, very clear, no scratches, bubbles or staining. I have been puzzeled what the lettering on the lid means; I've done some research but am unable find SAMAE. The jar stands 6 1/4 inches tall and the diameter at the bottom is 3 inches.
I just liked the shape of this shaker. It wasn't until I got it home that I discovered the S on the lid; half of a set. Regardless, it does have the Hazel Atlas logo on the base as well as 5108 and K13. The inside of the lid says Do Not Boil, Use Warm Water for Cleaning, Federal Tool Corp. Chicago. This cute little shaker stands 4 inches tall and a base diameter of 2 1/2 inches.
This salt and pepper shaker set was part of a collection I bought at an auction of a local ranch. I have tried water, soapy water, vinegar, vinegar with baking soda, drying with rice and am unable to get the cloudiness out of the glass. The diamond shapes in the glass are really nice as well as the lids. No maker markings are visible on the bases. These stand 4 inches tall.
