This little Native American boy and girl salt and pepper shakers are really cute. They were mass produced by Japan likely in the 1950s. What is cute about the items is the detail. They have been used and repeatedly washed, consequently parts of the paint have come off. The bottom cork of the girl is missing, however Japan is clearly stamped and the joyful facial expressions are obvious. This would have been the era of the Lone Ranger and many westerns, so all figures were extremely collectible.
They each stand 3 3/4 inches tall.
