Dolls have been a part of the childhood experience probably as long as little ones wanted to take care of something, just like their parents took care of them. These dolls were made of materials on hand: corn cobs, sticks, straw, and most commonly scrap fabric. They were hand crafted and less detailed than those "fancy" store-bought dolls, which most folks didn't have money for, that were made from porcelain, bisque, paper mache, glass, etc.
Prim Dolls are handcrafted, simple, but very durable. Some might say, they are so ugly, their cute. Whatever you want to call them, primitive dolls are a part of our childhood experience and tug at our heartstrings.
